Macrame collective exhibition

Time to tell you about one of the most emotional and beautiful things we have done thanks to the participation of some of you!
On the weekend of February 2-5, 2023, we organize a macramé collective exhibition within the framework of one of the main craft events in Spain: Creative Trends of Bilbao. The event was visited by 17,000 people and the exhibition was a real success. It was a unique exhibition, unprecedented in Spain.
Thousands of people were able to learn about the macramé technique, see the wonders that can be achieved with it and discover the artists of the works on display. We received a lot of comments about the exhibition and it was a real success.
But the beauty began much earlier... When we published the call to participate in the exhibition, we could not imagine the great reception it was going to have. The idea was liked and we received a huge number of applications. It was very emotional to read the beautiful messages that everyone sent, exposing their pieces, saying how excited they were to participate and wishing them luck with the event. Then came the extremely difficult task of selecting the projects and having to discard many of the proposals... The objective was to show the variety of pieces that can be created with the macramé technique., and we look for more special and striking things.
We select a total of 19 works of 13 artists. Once the exhibition was set up, we stood in front of it to be able to appreciate it as a whole... Seeing how beautiful the set-up was, we were moved when we thought about THE MOVEMENT that all of that entailed, in the 13 people who had participated, in how involved they were. They were there from the first moment, the super predisposition they showed and the trust they placed in us. We were excited to think what it meant to put together this exhibition and realizing that all the effort and time (and money!) invested was finally worth it.
We feel very happy and proud to have organized this exhibition, giving visibility to the macramé technique and the participating artists.
