Waxed Thread/0.5mm/Vegan [Linhasita]

The Brazilian polyester thread from Linhasita is the star of the micro-macramé because it is the favorite of artisans. It is a very thread durable, washable, mold resistant, no fades, it does not fray and can be burn the tips for a perfect finish.

The Linhasita brand is known in the handmade world for its excellent quality and durability. The colors are intense and bright, and they do not fade with contact with water or sunlight. Thus, the pieces made with this thread retain their colors and shape for many years.

This thread is produced by twisting two strands in a spiral. Thanks to this structure, a strong and durable thread is achieved. It is waxed with a mineral wax 100% vegan (without animal-derived ingredients). The thread feels sticky when you start using it, however, the sticky feeling quickly disappears and leaves a beautiful silky thread that, thanks to the wax, holds its knots very well.
