Cotton twisted rope is what is commonly referred to as "macramé rope," as it was traditionally the only type used for the technique. It is made by twisting three strands into a spiral. Thanks to this structure, the rope is strong and durable, with a weight heavier than other types of rope. It is easy to handle (we recommend it for beginners), and you can unravel the strands to create wavy fringes.

WHAT IS THIS ROPE USED FOR?

• Macramé
• 2mm: small projects that will be handled a lot (keychains, headbands, belts, baskets, pacifier clips) or larger projects where you want to achieve a more detailed design (tapestries, planters, lamps)
• 4mm: this is the standard thickness and the most commonly used in macramé, so it will work for practically any project: tapestries, plant hangers, lamps, curtains, chairs
• 5-7mm: this thickness allows for large-scale projects to be completed quickly. Perfect for tapestries, planters, hammocks.
• Crochet
• String chairsThe most suitable thicknesses are 2mm and 4mm
• Loomany of the thicknesses to achieve different textures in your creations
